Randy Kurtz

Randy is the chief investment officer of Betavisor, LLC.  A nationally recognized expert on risk who is obsessed with statistics, Kurtz challenges conventional wisdom about risk, return, diversification, asset allocation, and financial planning. His goal is to create portfolios which maximize the odds of success while minimizing the excess risk taken.  He has been profiled in Forbes, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.  Barron’s ranked his firm as the No. 1 performing separate accounts manager in the United States in the third quarter of 2011. He holds an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia Business School and a B.S.B.A. in finance from Washington University in St. Louis. Randy is a member of Mensa.
